Formation charging is the first active part of a battery’s life. Normally, the process of connecting all the strings of cells is a long one. NEC have developed a range of quick fit charging connectors which cuts this long process down to just a fraction of normal time.

For threaded insert and studs we have a range of plug in and plug on leads available, which simply push in to place. With insulation shrouding, these leads can be used in wet charging environments as the shroud seals against the terminal to prevent liquid ingress during filling or wash down.

Without insulation they are suitable for dry charge environments. Designed to give speed of connection, less than 5 seconds from cell to cell and are safer due to a reduced risk of fires caused by arcing.

A 90 degree version is available to improve access during filling.

Monitoring facilities can be incorporated and all leads are available as "Take Off’s" with various terminations to suit your charging equipment
